DialAssist
Terms of Service
Last updated 20 August 2026
These terms govern your use of DialAssist, an AI call-answering service operated from India.
By signing in you agree to them. If you are using DialAssist for an organisation, you confirm
you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf.
1. What the service does
When a call to your mobile number goes unanswered, your carrier forwards it to DialAssist. An
AI assistant answers, speaks with the caller, and produces a recording, a transcript and a
written summary that appear in your dashboard.
DialAssist does not intercept calls you answer yourself. Forwarding is configured by you, on
your handset, and you can remove it at any time by dialling ##004#.
2. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract under Indian law.
- You sign in with Google. We receive only your name and email address.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Google account secure.
- One mobile number may be active on one account at a time.
3. Your number
Calls are routed to you based on the mobile number you register, so you must verify it by
calling our service number from that handset before it becomes active. You may only register a
number you personally control. Registering someone else's number is a serious misuse of the
service and will result in immediate termination.
4. Recording calls — your responsibility
Read this section carefully. DialAssist records and transcribes calls made to you by
other people. Those callers are not our users and have no relationship with us. Whether, and
how, they must be told about recording is a legal question that depends on your circumstances
and the law where you and they are located.
By using DialAssist you confirm that you have the legal right to record and transcribe calls
made to your number, and that you will obtain any consent or give any notice the law requires
of you. You are the person who decides that calls to your number are answered and recorded, and
you are responsible for that decision.
The assistant does not currently announce that a call is being recorded. If your circumstances
require callers to be told, you must configure a greeting that tells them, and you must not
rely on DialAssist to do it for you.
We may suspend an account we reasonably believe is being used to record people unlawfully.
5. Plans, payment and refunds
There is no free trial. A number costs us money from the day it is assigned, so a plan is
paid for before one is issued to you — and instead of a trial you get a
full refund within 7 days, described below.
Plans are sold as a tier × a term. The tier sets how many answered minutes a month are
included; the term is how long you buy at once, and buying longer costs less per month. The
current tiers, allowances and prices are listed on the
pricing page, and the exact amount — including tax — is shown on
the checkout screen before you pay. Those two screens are generated from the same price list
and are the authoritative ones; nothing on this page overrides the figure you are shown at
checkout.
| Term | How it is billed |
| Monthly | In India, a recurring mandate (card or UPI AutoPay) that renews until you cancel. Elsewhere, paid once with a renewal reminder, because Indian recurring rails cannot enrol an international card. |
| 6 months | Paid once, up front, covering six months. |
| 12 months | Paid once, up front, covering twelve months. |
- GST at 18% is added to prices billed in Indian rupees, and is shown separately before you pay. Sales billed in other currencies carry no Indian tax; any tax owed where you are may be added when we become registered to collect it.
- Answered minutes are rounded up to the next whole minute per call. Calls you pick up yourself are never counted.
- Your monthly allowance is a hard cap. When it is used up the assistant stops answering, rather than running on at an additional-minute rate you did not agree to. We warn you before you reach it and again when you do.
- To keep going, buy credit — a block of hours at the rate shown in your dashboard. Credit works on any plan and does not expire.
- Payments are collected by Razorpay. We never see or store your card or bank details.
The 7-day refund
Ask within 7 days of your first payment and we refund it in full, with no questions and no
conditions about how much you used. Write to
[email protected] and we will process it to the
original payment method. Your number is released and your account closes when we do.
Changing plan
Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of the period you have
already paid for. What you are charged depends on whether the term changes:
- Same term, different tier. Your period keeps the end date it already had, and both
sides are prorated against the unused remainder — moving up a tier eight months into a year
does not restart the year.
- Different term. A new term starts on the day you change. The whole new term is
charged and credited with whatever the old one had left, so moving from monthly to annual is
a twelve-month commitment beginning that day.
Outside the 7-day refund window, a downgrade does not refund the remainder of a period you
have already paid for. The amount and the date are shown before you confirm the change.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from your dashboard. Your plan stays active until the end of the
period you have paid for — the rest of the month, or the rest of the six or twelve months you
bought — and is not renewed after that. Outside the 7-day refund window we do not refund the
unused remainder of a period.
Failed payments
This applies to the monthly term, which is the only one that renews by itself. If a renewal
payment fails, Razorpay retries it and your service continues during those retries. If the
retries are exhausted, the service stops answering calls until payment succeeds. A six- or
twelve-month term is paid up front and simply ends on its date unless you buy another.
6. Refunds after the first week
The 7-day refund in section 5 is unconditional and needs no reason. After that week, if
DialAssist fails to answer calls for a sustained period because of a fault on our side,
contact us at [email protected] and we will refund
or credit that period at our discretion. We do not otherwise refund a period you have part
used.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use DialAssist to:
- record people unlawfully, or to entrap, deceive or harass anyone;
- impersonate another person or organisation;
- operate a call centre, IVR, survey line or bulk-calling operation;
- handle calls where a failure to answer could endanger someone, including any emergency, medical or safety line;
- break any law, or infringe anyone's rights.
8. What we do not promise
DialAssist depends on your carrier, your handset settings and third-party providers we do not
control. Calls can be missed, forwarding can be silently disabled by a carrier, transcripts and
summaries are produced by AI and can be wrong or incomplete, and the service can be unavailable.
Do not rely on DialAssist for anything critical. It is not a substitute for answering
your phone, and it must not be used for emergency, medical or safety-critical calls.
The service is provided "as is". We give no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free,
or that any summary is accurate.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these
terms or your use of DialAssist is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before
the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost business,
lost opportunity, or loss arising from a call that was missed, mishandled, or inaccurately
summarised.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using DialAssist at any time by cancelling and removing call forwarding from your
handset. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, that we reasonably
believe is being used unlawfully, or where payment has failed. On termination we delete your
data as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes
We may change these terms. If a change materially affects you we will tell you by email before
it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change. Price
changes never apply to a period you have already paid for.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have
exclusive jurisdiction.
